Kilpatrick Continues Washington, D.C. Growth

Office Adds Three More Attorneys in August; 
Six Attorneys Have Joined Since May

WASHINGTON, D.C. (August 19, 2025)Kilpatrick is pleased to announce that three attorneys joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office in August.

  • Vincent Badolato joined the firm as Counsel on its Trademark, Copyright & Advertising Team. He came to Kilpatrick from Brown Rudnick on August 4. Mr. Badolato’s practice encompasses counseling, prosecution, licensing, and litigation within the trademark and copyright law field. He focuses on counseling regarding the selection, clearance, adoption, and use of trademarks, domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement, trademark portfolio management, and the development of comprehensive branding strategies. Mr. Badolato earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law and holds a B.A. from Brown University.
  • The firm is also pleased to announce that Tracie Siddiqui rejoined Kilpatrick as Trademark Of Counsel on August 18 as a member of the Trademark, Copyright & Advertising team after spending the last three years as Practitioner in Residence at American University. Previously, she was with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection as an Attorney Advisor for Intellectual Property Enforcement and was Vice President & Senior Counsel, Global Intellectual Property, for Marriott International. Ms. Siddiqui left Kilpatrick in 2017 after practicing with the firm for a decade. Ms. Siddiqui earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.
  • The firm welcomed Daniel Chozick on August 4 as an Associate where he is focusing his practice on complex antitrust and competition law. Mr. Chozick was an attorney in the Bureau of Competition at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, J.D., cum laude, and his B.A., International Affairs, from The George Washington University, cum laude.

“Vinny, Tracie, and Daniel’s addition to the office further underscores the dynamic growth we’re experiencing in D.C.,” said Ed Olifer, Office Managing Partner of Kilpatrick’s Washington, D.C. office.

In July, the firm’s D.C. office previously announced the addition of:

  • Trademark Partner Peter Willsey, who worked closely with Vincent Badolato at Brown Rudnick; and
  • Commercial Real Estate Finance and Capital Markets Counsel Ken Baker.

In May, Senior Associate Christopher Lapp joined the D.C. office as a member of the firm’s Financial Institutions Team on which focuses on securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory matters for financial institutions. He earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law, J.D., cum laude, and his BSc., International Relations, from The London School of Economics and Political Science.

Mr. Olifer, in closing, states: “We are significantly expanding our bench strength across numerous important practice areas and are thrilled to welcome all of our new colleagues to the office.”
